Winter is the peak season in Jamaica. The weather is slightly cooler over these months, and the island sees an influx of tourists from around the globe.
The low season falls during the summer months. During these months you will experience fewer crowds on the beaches, resorts and restaurants.
From Mid-April to May, the weather is amazing and the crowds taper off after peak season, allowing you ample space to relax, unwind and soak up the magnificent surroundings. From November - Mid-December, enjoy the same great weather, but you can expect the beaches and resorts to be less crowded.
Jamaica has simple marriage requirements, which is just one of the reasons they are such a popular wedding destination! You need to apply for a marriage license when getting married in the Caribbean. In most cases, you can do this upon arrival, but in some cases, you must do it ahead of time. Requirements will vary from one Caribbean nation to the next, but in general, spouses who hope to wed abroad should provide all the general required paperwork like birth certificates, documents translated into local language, Le Apostille stamps from your home country consulate, etc.
